Please send the resumes at [email protected] Job Title: Network Administrator Location: Columbia, SC Duration: 12 Months Client: State of SC Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Analyzes system configurations and corresponding documentation to evaluate the level of completeness of the documentation Engages relevant managers and technicians to identify current processes not documented. Develops infrastructure documentation and procedures as needed to comply with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines. Support existing SCDOR tax systems/applications in both legacy and new production environments. Works with application system managers to review system integrations. Produces documentation and processes for configuration management with respect to application systems. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. SKILLS REQUIRED: An associate degree in computer science and five years experience in new computer systems development, network management, or related field; or a bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, mathematics, statistics, management information science. Five years’ experience working in application support departments. Microsoft certifications. Experience of implementing NIST security or configuration management controls Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for policies, procedures, and best practices. Ability to conduct research into infrastructure issues and products as required .Ability to deal effectively with the needs of technical peers, technical and user management, users, vendors, and staff members, and to communicate clearly and effectively in spoken and written form Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills Flexible and easily adapts to changing priorities SKILLS PREFERRED: Broad experience in supporting enterprise level applications in a Windows/Mainframe environment.
