*JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance Analyst With UTP(Ultimate Test Pro)Duration – 6 +Monhs ContractLOCATION: Remote Work JOB SUMMARY *This position is responsible to develop thorough test plans for medium (relating to complexity) systems to ensure a smooth transition from a development environment to a production environment. Responsible for mentoring of Associate Quality Assurance Analyst. Responsible for testing, reviewing and learning medium (relating to complexity) functionality of software applications which are developed in house and those purchased form third party vendor. Develops and maintains documented standards for quality acceptance in software. Requires supervision and technical assistance. They purchased a testing tool called Ultimate Test Pro. They took a year to get it installed and are now ready to use it. The problem is that they have no one who knows the product. Contractors who have used Ultimate Test Pro who can come in and teach the others how to use the product. The duration would be until the end of the year. Since they all work from home, this person could also work from home (as long as they have their own equipment). They also can work in any of the Magellan offices (St. Louis, Columbia, or Phoenix). The product was developed for unit testing (testing usually done by the developer), so the people who would have the experience are most like going to be developers. They just need to realize that this is not a development position, it is a testing position.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (List tasks critical to completion of daily workload)*Develops test plans for medium systems to ensure application functionality meets original requirements to project. Works closely with software development staff to test and review applications developed in house or purchased from third party vendor prior to installation. Becomes knowledgeable of business applications systems as they are used within the business department, research and respond to application inquires.
