The candidate will develop Java code for a large scale network provisioning application in a team environment. Daily activities include new feature and module development, enhancements to existing code, working with system engineers to understand requirements, Junit testing, and collaboration with UI, Workflow and Database teams. The organization is responsible for layer 1-4 network provisioning, including both consumer and business requirements for the enterprise. The team receives service orders from upstream application and manages the entire provisioning process down to the network activation. There are nearly 20 interfaces, developed using a common framework, that are maintained by the Java development team as well as order decomposition and order updates (moves, adds, deletes, changes). The organization is growing with new applications for Order Management in the early phases of development.
