Dallas - 3 testers , 1 Lead Middletown - 1 Tester. 1 Lead Rate: Tester: $38-40c2c or $30-33w2 Lead: $45-50 c2c or $35-40w2 Need atleast 5 each resumes from you today. Need to beat the competition. Past exp with any telecom company is a big plus. Besides testers I expect you both to submit lead level guys too. JD for Tester/Test Lead * Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. * Experience with the full software development life cycle, testing (Integration Test, System Test, Regression Test and User Acceptance Test), Test planning/co-ordination/Execution, documentation activities. * Excellent verbal and communication skills. * Proficient in analyzing software requirements and documenting technical specifications for web applications services. * Experience with implementation of quality assurance and testing methodologies, processes, standards, and testing tools (HP QC etc.). * Strong hands on experience in Unix/Linux platform with ability to debug issues * Experienced in Java/Oracle/SQL or other Object oriented programming languages on windows and Unix/Linux platform; should be able to read and understand developer code & web-services. * Automation hands on expertise highly desirable. * Strong functional Telecom Domain knowledge needed Responsibilities Essential Functions: * Work with testing team as tester/lead tester. * Should perform QA activities. Tracks problems identified during testing activities. * Analysis and prioritization of defects. Provides status and progress reports by project. * Must be able to work cooperatively as part of a large or small local and remote testing team. * Must work well independently with limited direction, be a quick learner with excellent communication skills. * Interact well with other technical team members (architects, testers, analysts, and project/release managers). * Acquire basic Server working knowledge including, but not limited to, Weblogic as well as how Existing System are implemented the JAVA JVM runtime, Apache and Tomcat servers. * Stay current on new technologies as they relate to Quality assurance and application development.
