*Change/Release Manager*



The Build Manager is responsible for change, configuration and release
management tasks in production and pre-production environments.



*Change Management*

   - Owns processes for Change Management to Environments
   - Ensures and enforces prompt handling of changes to production and
   pre-production through the development and improvement of standardized
   methods and procedures that minimize the impact of related incidents upon
   service.
   - Responsible for tracking all requested and implemented changes to
   environments.
   - Assists with tracking changes and promotion through all environments to
   ensure consistency between environments and proper promotion process is
   followed.



*Configuration Management*

   - Establish and own Configuration Management processes that ensure
   accurate population of Change Management Database (CMDB) with configuration
   items in both production and pre-production.
   - Effectively leverage CMDB to support testing efforts and ensure
   environments are configured as needed



*Release Management*

   - Owns processes for Release Management
   - Work with development and testing teams to plan, coordinate and triage
   releases to production and pre-production tiers.
   - Establish, implement and enforce release procedures.



*Test Team Support Assistance *

   - Participates in ongoing testing efforts to ensure environments are
   configured as needed.

·        Assist with testing defect triage to remediate any environment
issues discovered in testing.



*Requirements:*

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in MIS or a related field
and 7 or more years hands-on experience with various systems, or equivalent
skills and experience.  3-5 years experience with medical claims systems,
Metavance preferred. Health care or related business knowledge required.  Broad
understanding of systems assigned.  Ability to work as part of a team.
 Organizational,
communication, and interpersonal skills required.  Ability to work in a
fast-paced environment.
