*Need: Project Manager * Philadelphia* * *Rate: $50/hr.* *Duration: 6 months. * Reinsurance experience, Property and Casualty insurance Experience. An insurance company is in need of a Project Manager in its headquarters office in Philadelphia. The Project Manager role will be Accountable for the management of projects from inception to completion including IT and user elements and ensuring the successful completion of agreed upon project deliverables. Generally responsible for developing and tracking project schedules, coordinating the required resources and managing risks and issues across projects. Works with team members to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects following PMO methodologies and project management best practices, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the project(s). Provides both formal and informal communications regarding project deliverables and status. *Minimum Qualifications and Requirements include:* - 3-5 years experience managing projects - 1-3 years of management/supervisory - Experience with technology and insurance/legal projects experience. - Excellent project management skills with solid experience using MS preferred. - Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and Project (or similar tools) procedures within the Project Management and Information Technology disciplines including PMI methodology (PMBOK) - Software Development Lifecycle and release - Demonstrates the ability to plan and analyze with a strong management. - High degree of self-motivation and ability attention to detail and accuracy, to work independently with a strong sense of initiative and creativity. - Effective written Demonstrates considerable judgment and professionalism and verbal communications and ability to communicate well with all levels. - Ability to make clear, concise, and within and outside the organization. - Well developed interpersonal skills, with ability to effective presentations - Establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse personalities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Responsibilities: - Establishes goals and comprehensive project plans for all assigned. - Provides day to day management of multiple projects, working with projects team members in all functions throughout the company. - Applies project management best practices to ensure delivery including services in various combinations of the following: - Project initiation and definition, resource management, risk management, change management, quality management, time and cost management analysis, major projects software development. - Provides regular and timely specialized skills in specific technologies. - Status and metrics reporting in order to track progress towards project goals. - Tracks and manages issues and risks associated with and measures of success. - Demonstrates effective use and application of the PMO all assigned projects. - Facilitates coordination between projects and methodology and best practices. - Works effectively at all levels of the organization. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
