This individual will provide management services for all project activities to ensure that the project will be completed on time, within budget, and within scope. This individual will create and manage Systems Engineering Methodology (SEM) deliverables following the State of Michigan’s project management methodology. This individual will create and manage a project schedule to direct resources on task assignments to complete the final product on time and with the quality the business partners expect. Deliverables must be monitored and progress of tasks reported on. Skills Required Documented experience in successfully managing Information Technology project efforts (full project lifecycle) whose scope included writing a large complex system. Experience in managing Information Technology (IT) projects where there is application development effort Over nine years of work experience as an Information Technology project manager Over nine years of work experience where participated in development efforts from planning stage through implementation stage Over nine years of work experience where a formal change management process was followed Five years of experience performing issues management across multiple organizations Excellent verbal and written communication skills with business partners and technical staff Provide record of delivering projects on time and within budget Over nine years of work experience developing project schedules using Microsoft Project (2008 version and beyond) Professional Certification as a PMI Project Management Professional Over nine years direct project management experience using a structured methodology Skills Preferred Experience managing a project using ChangePoint Experience managing a project where .NET was the development language Knowledge and understanding of The Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Experience managing a project that integrates Filenet as the image management system Experience managing Agile Project development efforts Experience Required At least nine years experience managing IT projects At least nine years experience with Microsoft Project (prefer current versions) At least nine years experience managing IT projects that include the development of a software application At least nine years experience performing project management skills on a project (ie.
