*IMMEDIATE CLIENT NEED - WebLogic Admin - Atlanta, GA - 12-24 Months Contract*
*Role* : WebLogic Admin *Location* : Atlanta, GA *Duratoin* : 12-24 Months Contract *EAD, Greencard or US Citizen Only !!* *POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:* 1. Research and evaluate new applications that will provide new improved feature functionality and efficiencies to optimize the existing infrastructure. This includes working with network and systems engineering teams to provide holistic solutions for future projects. 2. Documentation of system designs, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting procedures. 3. Enforcement of systems standards, policies and procedures in regards to hardware and operating system selection, configuration, and deployment. 4. Research and documentation of application best practices for performance, security, and stability. 5. Capacity planning and hardware sizing. 6. Planning and implementing disaster recovery and high availability for critical systems. 7. Troubleshooting of application, operating system and hardware problems. 8. Ability to communicate effectively with business counterparts. 9. Ability to perform with limited supervision. 10. Ability to manage multiple projects at one time. 11. Ability to lead others with no direct supervision responsibility. 12. Assist in the development and implementation of server standards for all new servers. *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* 1. Experience with installation, configuration and tuning of Apache, Tomcast, WebLogic, and/or JBoss. 2. Experience with Solaris or Linux system administration, engineering and architecture. 3. Understanding of TCP/IP Networking including OSI Model and basic UNIX system level network troubleshooting skills. 4. Script development with bash and/or Perl is a plus but not required. 5. Software development experience using Java is a plus but not required 6. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience 7. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Must be extremely comfortable giving both planned and impromptu presentations and handling a constant barrage of questions from both technical and non-technical cross functional teams. 8. Must be a strong “self-starter” who is able to think and work independently, seek out new sources of information, develop new skills, take responsibility for testing new designs, and champion new ideas while remaining a cooperative, communicative, collegial, and helpful member of a team. 9. Must be comfortable working in a team environment. *Requires* BS/BA in related discipline; 5-8 years of experience in related field.
