The DataStage Administrator responsible for application administration also Have understanding of DataStage between data stores including DB2 z/OS, and SQL server. . The DataStage Administrator works with the Network Services to maintain the IBM InfoSphere Information Server environment. . The DataStage Administrator participates in the development of corporate data standards and adheres to these standards when documenting and designing data processes. . The DataStage Administrator is accountable to incorporate the enterprise data architecture vision, strategy and standards in all initiatives. . Should have experience in Deployment, Administration and Support for Data Stage versions like 7.5.2, 8.5 and 8.7. . Should have working experience on complete SDLC for projects using concepts of data warehousing and client/server technologies, with proven abilities in ETL of data using IBM Data stage Enterprise Edition. Skills Required: . Must have 4+ years of experience with IBM DataStage ETL tool is required. . Need to have extensive exposure in the areas of data warehousing, BI/OLAP/ETL and databases with major experience in Ascential (IBM Web sphere) Data Stage (Server and Enterprise Edition), Ascential Quality Stage and would have worked with RDBMSs ranging from Oracle DB, Sybase and MS SQL Server etc.. . Should have deep exposure to Data Stage EE . Should have worked on UNIX/Linux shell scripts for file monitoring, text processing and DataStage project deployment. . Prior experience on migration projects Other Qualifications . Good analytical and problem solving skills . Good programming skills for database management and general software . Good communication skills . Leadership skills to guide work teams . Ability to work in a team environment . Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action . This person must have the ability to work well with cross boarder technical team members. . He must also have the ability to digest functional specifications documents and write Technical Specifications documents as well as High Level design documents. . This person must also be able to interface strongly with the business.
