**Duration:** 3+ months (could get extended to 1+ year)
Location: **Pittsburgh**, PA** ***
Client is planning to implement BI 7, together with all related Netweaver
2004S components. This will be a new installation, which will include
migration of all data and configuration from our current DW environment.
- The BI implementation will focus on the Purchasing and Supply subject
area only. Our expectation is to use this implementation as a learning
vehicle for NOVA personnel. All other subject areas will be implemented at
a later time by NOVA personnel, and will be out of scope for this
engagement.
- As-Is Environment:
- BW is used for xEM (SAP/Technidata bolt-on) only. Size unknown at
this time.
- The Enterprise Data Warehouse is completely Oracle-based. It
contains 11 data marts, and the data is extracted via Informatica.
- 10 data marts contain data from the SAP modules, the 11th is
non-SAP. Total size is 750 GB, containing data from the last 10
years. The
Purchasing and Supply data mart is SAP-based.
- All data marts are used, but some more than others, e.g. FICO, SD,
HR team’s use EDW a lot. WCR (PMPS) is used a lot but by only a
few people.
