Hadoop Sr Developer Lead In this exciting role, you will participate in the systems development life cycle for new development, enhancements and maintenance projects in Hadoop/Big data environment. As a member of the Delivery Management team, you will lead development project teams to design, develop and deploy ETL software needed to support a variety of business needs. The position will report to a Director, but will be matrixes to project managers for completion of project activity. Requirements - Degree or equivalent experience - 7 to 10 years of Core Java and advanced Java development experience. - 5+ years of development including full life cycle activities - 2+ years of Hadoop and Data Management - 3 years working experience with Agile methodologies Job Responsibilities: - Provide end to end Hadoop development solution. Develop Hadoop architectural approach to meet key business objectives - Must have excellent coding knowledge in Map/MapReduce, Java and Shell Scripts. - Must have excellent coding knowledge in Hadoop tools i.e Hive, HBase, Pig, Pivotal HD tools, Scoop etc.. - Must able to run and debug the code. Must able to do code walkthrough/review on day to day basis and provide inputs. Follow agile model and must able to come up with a plan for Unit testing/Test cases/expected Results, Integration testing/Cases/Expected results and work with business team for UAT. - Work with business owners, analysts, solution engineers, development teams and infrastructure services to communicate Hadoop application and data architectures - Take directions from leadership and execute independently. Need good experience in On/Offshore Model - Conduct vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts for new Hadoop technologies/solutions - Good presentation skills are must. He must need to demo the technology and data for every sprint (Every two weeks) - Healthcare Industry experience will be helpful Title: Java Frontend Developer with JSF Location: Eden Prairie, MN Duration: 6+ Months JSF Description What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment? FWA-FOCUS-PICTS (Payment Integrity Case Tracking System) Is this person a sole contributor or part of a team? Team If so, please describe the team? (Name of team, size of team, etc.) Part of Agile Scrum Team Requirements: • 8 + years in the software engineering profession. • Demonstrated expertise in building Web applications using Java/J2EE Frameworks in an Agile/Scrum methodology. • Expertise in presentation, business layer development and MVC Architecture. • Experience in Database Access ORM tools like spring, Hibernate. • Rich Faces and/or JSF frameworks development experience. • Understanding of SOA design principles • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
