*Position:QA Test EngineerDuration: 6 MnthsLocation: Chicago,IL* Description: The Software QA Test Engineer will be responsible for both leading activities and performing hands on testing. The qualified candidate will be able to: Define approach to validating capabilities Develop testing strategies and testing plans, including, functional testing, non-functional testing, regression testing, negative testing, deployment testing, ETL job execution (Control M) testing, and error handling testing Mentor / lead junior software test engineers Work with business to understand requirements Identify the types of testing and test scenarios to validate capabilities Define and mock-up test data needed to execute testing Work with operations team to coordinate the build of the testing environment for the initiative Develop comprehensive and reusable test cases Facilitate UAT activities with the business team Track defects and report on testing progress and results
