8-12 month Contract Memphis, TN TMS Implementation Specialist Lead the development, implementation and management of the company’s Transportation Management System, thus driving continuous improvement on behalf of the company’s and clients’ best interest. Function as the Super User of the Company’s Transportation Management System and associated systems including the reporting and optimization modules, carrier information module, etc., collectively “TMS” Analyze TMS data and provide metrics to pre-defined distribution lists Create and deliver a first class customized transportation solution. Target audiences for these solutions include both current and future clients. Solutions may involve engineering, solution design, pricing, process and technology demonstration, return on investment analysis, and internal profitability modeling. Develop training documents and train new users on the TMS Monitor and document periodic system modifications Advise users of potential impacts caused by system modifications Act as TMS liaison for VP Account Management and Account Management team Troubleshoot TMS issues Perform project management functions, leading solutions from beginning to end Experience with at least two (3) years of TMS Must possess strong capabilities in modeling software and techniques, including Microsoft Excel, route optimization software, and TMS.
