*Job Description:*
- Provide all levels of support to the Americas Middle and Back Office
Operations departments working with proprietary and 3rd party applications
- Develop enhancement/issue remediation solutions to multi-tiered
systems and reporting applications
- Experience in all aspects of the SDLC to include activities such as
business analysis, specification documentation, Quality Assurance testing,
release management
- Work closely with business users to gather clear requirements
- Log issues and resolutions: analyze, document and communicate issue
root cause and remediation requirements; document support procedures
- Recommend controls, guidelines and changes
*Required experience:*
- 5+ years Java/J2EE experience
- Prior experience in the financial services industry
- Bachelors degree in IT-related field (preferred)
- Experience in Unix or Linux development environment
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience
*A Plus:*
- Perl, Python, Groovy or other dynamic language
- C#, .NET
- JBoss, RESTful Services
- JMS, MQ, Tibco EMS Communications
- Hibernate and Spring
- Eclipse, SVN
- Sybase
