Project/Task Summary
Client seeks a Software Quality Assurance Test Analyst to support the
User Acceptance Test (UAT) phase of the:
-Vendor Supplied Crew Schedule/Equipment Schedule construction
software system
-Internally developed mail and ride system
The consultant shall have the skills and experience to:
-Task 1: interface with the software vendor, client end user
department and the client IT dept during the testing phase
Consultant will interface with the SV and/or the IT Dept
during the UAT for all discrepancies found during the UAT
-Task 2: develop UAT plans and procedures
Consultant will with support from the SV and client IT and
the appropriate client staff, develop the Acceptance Test Plans &
Procedures, which define the validation process performed by the
client on the implementation system. The ATP defines scenarios and
test scripts for all testing activities. Familiarization with
automated test tools is desirable.
-Task 3: support the execution of the UAT scripts
Consultant will with support form appropriate client
staff, work to execute UAT scripts
-Task 4: provide for SV/End user/IT interface
Consultant will be the primary interface between the end
user dept and the it dept and the SV. In addition the consultant
will:
- facilitate all meetings
- document all meetings with discussion notes and action
items
- communicate all test discrepancies
- maintain test logs and issues list
-Task 5: Documenting test results
Consultant will assist the IT dept in the documentation of
the UAT test results
Qualifications:
The selected consultant must be familiar with:
- All aspects of Microsoft office Suite of products
- Developing test plans and procedures
- Familiar with crew & equipment scheduling software
- Executing test scripts
