Develop, enhance and support related batch applications and components. Troubleshoot and perform necessary support activities to resolve production issues and facilitate business activity. Perform these duties independently or as a member of a small team adhering to Komatsu development standards and practices. Design, develop and maintain web applications on behalf of various business unit sponsors from departments across Komatsu America including manufacturing plants, part operations, service, marketing, parts marketing, etc. targeting various internal and external users including over 270 distributor locations located throughout North America, thousands of end customer users as well as hundreds of Komatsu employees. Key Job Responsibilities: List the principal duties in descending order of significance to fulfilling the job purpose. Enhance and support custom business applications and batch processes built upon Microsoft’s .NET technology platform (ASP.NET / C#). 25 Work with an application architect or in a one to two person team to develop new custom business applications, batch processes and components utilizing Microsoft’s .NET technology platform (ASP.NET / C#). 25 Enhance and support custom SharePoint intranet web parts and timer/batch jobs built upon the SharePoint 2013 object model in C#. 15 Write SQL Server database data model change scripts, create stored procedures, and query data as needed to facilitate development efforts. 10 Consult in database data modeling applying sound data design principles. Be able to read and to understand relational database diagrams and infer the meaning of the data. 10 Work with business application sponsors from diverse business areas to develop system requirements.
