order for us to win these positions candidates are not only going to have to
possess the required skills, but the preferred skills are going to need to
be there as well.....they usually hire over the phone.
The position requires intermediate to expert level PeopleSoft technical
skills ranging from analysis and design to coding and unit testing.
Depending on the technical assignment, the position may require PeopleSoft
patch analysis, technical customizations and/or recommendation for removals
of modifications.
*Essential Skills: *
- PeopleSoft development experience within Financials 8.9 or higher
- PeopleSoft Application designer, Peoplecode, App Engine,
Peopletools 8.4x,
- Experienced in PeopleSoft Implementations in Government or
Education
- Expert level hands on experience and knowledge of the reporting
tools, to make reliable recommendations.
*Preferred Skills *
- Modules: eProcurement, Purchasing, AP, AR, Asset Management, GL,
Commitment Control, Grants/Projects/Contracts
- XML Publisher, Crystal, nVision, App Messaging, Integration
Broker, PeopleSoft Workflow, PeopleSoft Security, Oracle 10g
- Broad background in reporting within PeopleSoft Financials
- Knowledgeable of best practices for using all the reporting tools
available, e.g. nVision, XML Publisher, Crystal, SQR etc.;
