Location :- Jersey City, NJ
Duration :- 6 Months +
Rate: $55/hr C2C (Max)
Job Description :-
• Evaluates system potential by testing compatibility of new programs with
existing programs.
• Evaluates enhancements by studying work load /capacity of developed
applications.
• Identifying and evaluating options; recommending a course of action.
• Confirms program objectives and specifications by testing new programs;
comparing programs with established standards; making modifications.
• Improves existing programs by reviewing objectives and specifications;
evaluating proposed changes; recommending changes; making modifications.
• Evaluates vendor-supplied software by studying user objectives; testing
software compatibility with existing hardware and programs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Mandatory Skills
• Strong expertise in Core java, JSP, Servlets and Struts.
• Proficient knowledge ORACLE(SQL/PLSQL) and DB2
• Good knowledge of web sphere and Tomcat.
• Extensive experience on web application architecture design and
development on j2ee platform
Technical Skill Set
Experience - Lead Technical Specialist – 10-14 years
Technical Specialist - 8-10 years
Operating Systems- Windows 2000,Windows XP, Linux, Unix
Technologies - JAVA,JSP, Servlets, Struts, Spring, Hibernate AJAX, XML, JDBC
Databases - Oracle
Server Side Technologies - Tomcat 5.0, JBoss 4.2, RMI, Java Web services,
Hessian Web Services
Tools - Experience is using / proficient in either of these - Eclipse 3.2,
Erwin1.4, Smart Draw, Enterprise Architect, Jasper Report
Domain - Domain knowledge in either Investment Banking or Finance sector,
Experience in Dodd Frank implementation is a plus
