so there will be very little design. They have already created one datamart
so they will need to create a second one but the candidate will not need
any ETL tool experience, no major datamart experience nor DB2 environment
(since that is what they use, SQL will be fine). the person will be using
shell scripting and load data, manage data, improve the performance and
update the data. They will required to write complex queries and need to
take excel spreadsheets or flat file and load data to the database.

Coming from a DB2 environment is a bonus but a SQL or Oracle environment is
fine. DW experience is great but they can have come from a DBA background
if they are an applications DBA not a production DBA and much of their work
has been hands on and doing development. Unix environment is a bonus as
well.

Work Environment: Cubes, collaborative, cross functional team

Interview Information:

Who is the Internal/External Customer:

Internal: The datawarehouse and business intelligence team

External: Transformation, Basel, testing teams as these will be the major
projects teams that are driving the projects

Impact to the Internal/External Customer:

Internal: Without this person the amount of work is too great and deadlines
for regulatory and high visibility projects will not be met. 12-31-14

External: This will create a datawarehouse that can create and streamline
customer data for all the groups. Currently they are takeing 3 loans
systems and consolidating to 1, basel III requires access to customer data
relating to the banks position on the amount of assets it has versus the
loans outstanding and stress testing will be a major process to ensure the
systems can handle the amount of data and traffic on the system

Thanks and Regards
