*As part of the Disaster Assistance Payment Program (DAPP), the project will
accomplish the following goals:*
· Create new interfaces for the Disaster Assistance Payment Program
with Accounts Receivables and Payments
· Enhance payment tracking
· Enhance reporting capabilities
· Ensure compliance with agency software development standards,
including SDLC and PMLC
· Upgrade the application to the current version of WebSphere and
Oracle
· Ensure business processes are not interrupted during the
implementation
* WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS *
* **Essential Job Functions:*
· Performs systems analysis to evaluate the current application and
system while considering additional customer requirements, systems
requirements, software releases, equipment configurations, and
relationships/dependencies between systems
· Participate in customer definition and design meetings to gather
requirements and functional specifications
· Follow HHSC CIT standards for web based applications
· Develop and implement new or revised methods that effectively meet
agency needs
· Documents agency IT processes to support IT software development
· Prepare all required diagrams, charts, and tables that depict the
present and proposed system in terms of benefits derived, and tasks
accomplished
· Provide technical leadership and direction to team members

mentoring and training skills.
· Able to work with others in a team-based environment
· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
· High motivation level and superior attention to detail
· Ability to finish projects on time with minimal supervision
