*Loc: San Antonio, Texas* *Duration: Until end of year - Should be renewed for 2010* *Inclusive Rate: Open* *Technical Requirements:** * Supplier resources will have the following skills / experience / background: Bachelor's degree in a technical or management discipline with five to ten (5 -10) years of project management experience using Agile techniques. Possess proven ability to communicate effectively with both Technical and Business personnel on varying organizational levels. Ability to review project scopes and define techniques including iterative development to accomplish the project’s stated goals and objectives for cost, schedule and quality. Proven ability to interpret and use project metrics to effectively manage assigned projects. Experience interacting with business project sponsor, business subject matter experts and other key stakeholders, project team members on project scope, schedules, risks, requirements, communication, quality assurance and issue resolution for large scale cross-enterprise projects. Familiar with SCRUM and one or more of the following software development methodologies: Rapid Application Development (“RAD”), Agile, Extreme Programming (“XP”), Feature Driven Develop, Test Case Driven Development, Rational Unified Process (“RUP”), iterative, waterfall. *Tasks:* The following itemized tasks / Deliverables are to be provided by Supplier in the performance of Services described under this SOW. *Task #22.1: Refine and deliver the USAA owned Agile/Iterative Training materials. *This Deliverable may include, but is not limited to the following: Agile Principles and Beyond Scrum Training Agile Estimation & Planning Executable Requirements Test Driven Development Agile Automation Training Note: The above classes are taught over a period of 2days each and can accommodate a maximum of 15 students per class. *Task #22.2: Provide Consulting and Mentorship to USAA Teams. *This Deliverable will include, but may not be limited to the following: Begin process of base lining current software development process being utilized Identify and recommend process changes that can be easily and quickly adopted by USAA Teams that establish early success and momentum with Agile methods. Facilitate Agile/Iterative project workshops . Working with prioritized team leaders, help guide, build and prioritize a backlog of requirements that the team will execute on behalf of the appropriate product owner with the objective of both building quality software and promoting the acquisition of mature Agile skills and behaviors. Assist in defining and articulating the USAA Agile Software Lifecyle Vision necessary to guide all related training, mentoring and project coaching. *Task #22.3: Create Agile Mentor/Coach Certification. *This Deliverable will include, but may not be limited to the following: Evaluate and provide recommendations for USAA Agile Mentor/Coach Certification Process.
