Please go through the below requirement, If you are comfortable with this position please send me your updated resume to [email protected]. *Role: Database architecture* *Location: Arlington, VA* *Duration: 12+ Months * Job Summary: The Specialist, Platform (DB) is a member of the project team who takes responsibility for database architecture, design, and operations. Qualified applicants must be detail-oriented, result-driven individuals who work well within team environments and have good interpersonal skills, as well as good client interaction skills. *Responsibilities: * • Architects databases and works with business stakeholders to define conceptual, logical and physical data models • Monitors database operations to ensure properly set configuration options. • Plans implementation of enhancements and upgrades to database environments. • Performs cost/benefit studies of database configurations and recommends enhancements. • Directs the installation and testing of database services. • Advises service users of technical requirements, configurations, and limitations. • Establishes and implements database policies, procedures, and standards and ensures their conformance with information systems objectives. • Leads or participates in the development of feasibility studies, designs, and operations supports plans. • Develops technical requirements and identifies solutions to meet the technical requirements. • Uses agile and traditional data modeling techniques to elaborate and clarify project requirements. • Reports on progress, risks, and issues. • Identifies relevant data standards and federal regulatory requirements and configures the database to comply with those requirements • Develops and reviews project documentation. • Provides technical and analytical evaluations. • Serves as system administrator; manages user access and privileges; and configures data classes, views, reports, filters, and complex queries. • Maintains system back-ups. • Restores database and application operations in the event of a planned or unplanned service disruption. • Uses the service desk to monitor and respond to user requests and incidents. • Maintains system knowledge base. • Develops designs and scripts for the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from external sources. • Advises the team on business intelligence best practices. • Develops conceptual and logical data models. • Implements physical data models and maintains the data dictionary. • Recommends and takes action to analyzes and solve database or business intelligence related problems. *Requirements: * - Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident - Eligible for U.S. Government Clearance. *Experience Guidelines: * - At least 7 years’ experience working with database systems - At least 3 years’ experience architecting database systems - Experience with large data migration efforts - Established track record in relational database management systems and business intelligence technical administration and project leadership. - Familiarity and experience with security planning and security control implementation as it relates to secure database operations. - Established track record of working effectively with other technical and nontechnical team members. - Understanding of how technical issues impact the business requirements and the ability to clearly communicate this information to stakeholders. - Ability to contribute to project planning and management as one member of a small, highly skilled, self-directed team. - Ability to customize and tailor project technical and operations management templates as required for the project. - Strong problem identification and analytical skills. - Creativity with an eye to developing new and innovative solutions. - Excellent analytical and organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple concurrent projects. - Proven ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with all stakeholders and at all levels of the organization, including senior management. - Expert working knowledge of recent versions of Oracle RDBMS - Expert in leading business intelligence tools. *Education:* - Bachelor’s Degree required from College or University -- *Thanks & Regards,RajaAITA Consulting Services Inc4-04,Towne Center Drive,North Brunswick,NJ 08902Mobile No.732-658-5432 !
