Knowledge and developer/programmer experience in ASP.NET and Object Oriented development is essential, as is the ability to clearly communicate and work well with others. VB.Net or C#.Net is required. The back end is encapsuled in the middleware. Most of the work will be front end development. There is no back end work required for this position. Knowledge, skill, and experience with SQL, 2- Oracle PL/SQL, and mobile application development are pluses. The candidate must be able to complete tasks/projects in a timely manner, without prompting. The candidate must continuously review their own work to ensure quality and create professional, thorough, error-free work that meets or exceeds DOT IT staff’s expectations. The candidate must conduct their own testing and delivery a quality work product. The candidate will be working on a team of developers but will take direction from the tech lead and project manager. A successful candidate will be engaged in future projects and has the potential to be extended up to 2 to 3 years.
