Please go through the below requirement, If you are comfortable with this position please send me your updated resume to [email protected]. *Role: WebSphere App System Admin* *Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 12+ Months * Responsibilities: · Installs, configures and maintains the operating systems. · Analyzes and resolves problems associated with server hardware and applications software. · Detects, diagnoses, and reports related problems on the server. · Duties include installing and maintaining (from a server or system perspective) operating systems, database management systems, and programming tools. · Monitors and tunes systems software and networks for optimal performance. · Also installs new user accounts, creates batch administration scripts and runs systems backups and disaster recovery operations. · Participate in load tests to assess statistics successful migration Required Skills: · Skilled in WebSphere Application Server 6.0 & 6.1 installation, tuning and troubleshooting - 4-5 years · IHS/Apache Webserver installation and tuning including plugin config - 4-5 years · AIX and Linux operating systems - 4-5 years · Experience in configuring and troubleshooting WebSphere Application Server in a multiple tier (firewall/load balancer) environment - 4-5 years · Scripting, automation knowledge, portal experience, ESB/WebSphere Process Server a definite plus · Wily Introscope toolset 1-2 years · Migration, installation, configuration and troubleshooting of WebSphere Application Server instances.
