The candidate must essentially have recent and strong experience in Oracle database (10g, 11g) and Oracle Forms/Reports (10g, 11g). * * *Key Responsibilities* · Database application performance analysis and tuning. Closely monitor performance; identify problems and implement solutions; ensure the database is running at optimum speed and efficiency · Carry out analysis of performance reports and proactively identify expensive SQLs and other performance bottlenecks · Carry out root cause analysis of Database/SQL performance problems and recommend a solution for Production as well as Release environments · Analyze queries for problem resolution and performance optimizations · Provide database design, research and recommend optimal schema, table and index design data integrity and maintainability; standardize environment and improve efficiency · Develop application code using Oracle based SQL/PLSQL, packages, triggers , stored procedures · Make recommendations on database design, application code, new database features, coding techniques and system enhancements *Required Skills: * · Minimum 6 years as database developer and/or DBA.
