- Performing Fit/Gap Analysis of Business Requirements
- Identifying Solution Options (Design Alternatives) to determine the
recommended solution approach
- Authoring Functional Design Deliverables, in business terms; which will
entail both System and Business Process changes.
- Authoring Technical Design Deliverables. Tech Spec’s must be documented
to support off-shore development.
- Active engagement in Issue Mgmt Processes; identifying project
implications of Issue Alternatives
- May be identified as an Off-Shore Liaison. Some responsibilities of an
off-shore liaison include:
- Communicate project objectives / Provide direction on
project work scope & approach to off-shore
- Be a central point of contact for off-shore resources to
answer (or obtain answers to) questions
- Work closely with an off-shore PM to provide direction
to / coordination of off-shore resources
