We are seeking a Project manager (PM) who will be responsible for utilizing
best practice project management processes and methodologies to ensure
projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality
standards and meet customer expectations.
As Project Manager you will track key milestones and adjust project plans,
budget requests and/or resources to meet the needs of the business. You
will work effectively as an individual and team contributor within a
cross-functional, global environment. You will be accountable for managing
and m onitoring performance on projects including providing guidance to the
steering and core teams.
The ideal candidate will possess strong business
consulting, project management, collaboration, problem solving,
communication, presentation and negotiation skills for the development,
implementation, management of IT projects and programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the defined Team on small- or mid-scale projects in the team
environment (i.e. Website re-launch, Software upgrades or replacements, …)
- Manage projects from start to finish i.e. coordinate requirement
analysis, development, testing, implementation and post-go live support
- Drafting business cases and production of key decision making
information for project stakeholders.?
- Create project plans, timetables, risk analysis, communication plans
and requirements documents
- Work within IT project portfolio to maintain projects and ensure that
the Workflow is being followed
- Facilitate global meetings/calls to ensure communication within
project teams is effective
- Proactively predict and identify deviations from project plans or
schedules and keep all participants and stakeholders informed while leading
efforts to bring projects back on schedule, budget, or quality.? Facilitate
the creation and documentation of project requirements, use cases, and
other related materials.?
- Identify potential scope changes or altered requirements, presenting
the possible changes to project stakeholders with alternatives for
implementation and impacts to schedule or budget.?
- Document, articulate and negotiate consensus on issues, decisions,
schedules, requirements, core project goals, scope and any other items that
may arise amongst project stakeholders and end users.?
- Preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) packages to potential
vendors.?
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related discipline
- 5+ years of demonstrated project management experience in managing IT
application projects
- Previous experience working with global, cross functional teams
- Demonstrated experience writing/creating scope documents and
communicating clear technical requirements. A writing sample will be
required.
- Demonstrated experience communicating project status, daily task
management and proactive issue tracking and resolution
- Experience coordinating diverse project teams made up of business
users, technical developers, and vendor resources in projects
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and competing priorities and
projects
- Proficient with MS Project and MS Office
- Strong communication and analytical skills are essential
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Able to travel globally (up to 10 %)
Preferred Experience:
- PMP or PMI certification Project management experience in managing
projects
