Norwalk CT (Local) BI /developer with experience working in data warehousing environments: looking for someone with SQL as well experience with SSIS – Integration services to get data into and out of the environment Ability to model (logical/physical) SSAS tabular cubes Experience with classic ETL > Staging > Star schema modeling, table development and ETL scripting Experience optimizing round trips between Excel/PowerPivot and SSAS tabular cubes Experience building PowerView reports with great user experience Experience with reporting environments Experience creating and analyzing query plans Index optimization for reporting environments Performance monitoring and tuning Great critical thinking and troubleshooting skills Additional “Nice to Have” skills: Ability to quickly provision new instances of SQL Server (installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations) Ability to administer rights and privileges (general security knowledge) Experience using System Center Operations Manager to create templates/scripts to provision instances Experience pulling data from SAP BW into SQL Server using MDX or BEX Experience with data federation and virtualization concepts Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
