*Job Title : IOS DeveloperLocation : Boulder, CODuration : 12+ Months* *Required Skills and Experience:* • Experience developing Apps in the Apple Store • Objective C and MVC concepts (MVVM if you want to get fancy) • A head for writing testable code (and then the tests too). • Experience creating and linking to static libraries • Deep understanding of the ObjC runtime (we’re not swizzling methods over here, but we know how to) • The know how to take a Core Data object and share it across multiple threads without losing data or creating race cases. • Experience using Instruments to tune the performance of your apps. • Understanding the uses of UIBezierPath, and how you can combine things like Quartz 2D and UIKitDynamics to create a mobile experience that feels fluid and real • You know the difference between #import and @import; nil, Nil, NULL, and NSNULL; and you can make a protected namespace using a category. *Nice to have:* • Experience working with network code that DOESN’T just use AFNetworking & REST. • Reactive Cocoa chops • Solid knowledge of Core Location, what it does well and when it fails. • Experience working on apps for both iOS6 & iOS7. • Knowledge of iOS7 only functionality like background fetch, UIKitDynamics, and Text Kit. • Solid fundamentals. You know how to handle shit if ARC disappeared. You know when and why to use a Factory method pattern. Hell, you even use bitwise enums from time to time. • You’ve got experience working on an SDK written in C or C++ that can be shared between platforms. *What you will be doing*: • Build an iPhone app to control devices in the home • Work on a team to extend and improve the functionality of the app • Manage mobile SDK that Revolv has created • Coordinate with hub and cloud – help define messages that will pass back and forth to the hub • Help to create new paradigms for home control and make into a unique user experience Please respond with Resume, Rate and Phone numbers of the Consultant.
