Interface with management, business/systems analysts, project managers, and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements. Contribute strongly to full project life cycles from business development through deployment and follow on support of custom applications. Resolve business and technical problems which require knowledge of Microsoft software development tools and technologies including C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MS SQL and Microsoft SharePoint. Serve as a resource for technical application issues, and developing, delivering and installing new application deployments to internal customers and providing post-implementation technical product support for those customers. Provide technical documentation for application components, utilities, reports and operational procedures. Principal responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; identify and implement solutions. - Responsible for redesign of Corp IT DB from concept, design, to development, leveraging best practice and past experience. - Work with a team to create detailed project specifications, requirements and estimates. - Works with the various CorpIT groups where applicable to gather requirements and resolve issues. - Proactively assists Program Manager in defining direction for future projects. - Proactively researches technology trends of the product; identifies and markets applicable uses of the product and it’s components. - Works and interacts directly with the business owners on requirements gathering and testing of applications for development projects. - Follows established coding standards, process procedures and security guidelines. - Work consistently within the procedures of the change control processes. Education or language requirements: - BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area required - Fluent in English - Experience and skills sought: 7+ years total development experience with 5+ years Web Application development experience - Master at DB design and functionality - Expert development skills with C#, XML, HTML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, SOAP, WSDL and other web development technologies - Experience in the analysis, design, implementation, deployment, training, and support of a variety of large and complex applications - In depth understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and IIS - Extensive knowledge of common data structures, design patterns and best practices - Ability to scrutinize applications and services to ensure they adhere to security standards - Experience with diagnostics tools (Tealeaf, Fiddler, IE Inspector, HTTP Analyzer) preferred - Ability to translate business requirements to technical solutions - Exceptional customer service orientation and written and verbal communication skills - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills *Thanks & Regards* Prasad Rao Aptude Inc.
