*Job Title : Project Manager-PMPLocation : Cheyenne, WY Duration : 2 years* *Job Description:* The Department of Workforce Services (DWS) with support from the Department of Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) is in the process of replacing their existing 25 year old mainframe Unemployment Insurance System. The replacement solution is being developed in partnership with a four state consortium consisting of the following states: Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, and North Dakota. *Required Skills:* • At least five (5) years of experience performing Project Management/Business Analyst functions in an Information Technology environment (including software, hardware and network infrastructures). • Preference will be given to candidates with a Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification. • Must have the proven ability and experience in planning, developing, executing and monitoring large and diverse IT data system projects using PMI (PMP or Agile) project management principles and practices including an Agile Methodology to deliver projects on schedule, within budget. • Must have the proven ability to build and motivate project teams comprised of internal and external resources. • Must have the ability to effectively manage contractors in the best interest of the State and the project aligned with the scope of work and project goals. • Must have an understanding of data security and related best practices. • Provide expertise in developing and administering the change management process, including configuration management, while resolving disruptions and project delays. • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to accurately convey project goals, requirements, status and project options to all stakeholders including the ability to communicate detailed technical subjects to non-technical stakeholders.
