*Application Support Analyst*

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
• Serve as the Functional Change Coordinator for department, managing and
overseeing change requests for infrastructure changes.
• Serve as problem manager for department ensuring proper management of
problem tickets and with follow-up on resolutions
• Assist staff in unit with use of application that automates or executes
their business processes.
• Develop data extractions or develop reports from requests or requirements
stated by clients. Use database, report writer, data mart, or specialized
applications to generate reports or analyses.
• May support application(s) in production. Note interruptions or bugs in
operation and perform problem solving exercise to determine problem and
ensure continued use of the application.
• Track production issues and report periodically to group charged with
monitoring uptime and efficiency of production application.
• Participate in project meetings to plan rewrite of addition to
application in production or being revised for release into production.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Experience using Remedy, a plus
• Technical background and previous experience supporting IT infrastructure
products and tools. Hands-on support of infrastructure products and tools.
• Demonstrated experience in change management and problem management
functions
• Hands-on experience with managing Sharepoint sites
• Hands–on experience with using BI tools for developing and executing
reports for analysis. Experience with Business Objects, a plus.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision; self-starter
• Project management experience, a plus



*Sr. J2EE Developer | Herndon, VA – 65/hr*

Developer III performs high complexity (i.e. system level applications)
analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications
from user requirements and design documents. The candidate also resolves
defects encountered during various testing cycles.

Required Skillsets
1) Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
2) Solid knowledge of the programming language(s), application server,
database server and/or architecture of the system being developed
3) Solid understanding of current programming languages and employs any/all
of these languages to solve the business needs of FNM's internal customers.
Good communication skills. Collaborate or lead to coordinate with project
team and stakeholders.
4) Knowledge of the following:
Critical Skills: J2EE, Java, EJB, Spring, C, SQL, Windows, Sybase, Unix
Shell Scripting.
Some knowledge of Visual Basic, Job Scheduling

Minimum Education Qualifications
1) Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
2) Professional certification(s) desired
3) Post-graduate degree desired

- Strong technical aptitude, can do attitude

- Recent experience building a highly scalable enterprise system
- Strong knowledge of graphics
- Communication and presentation
