Please send resumes to [email protected] *Job Title: Infrastructure Security Engineer Location: Houston, TX Duration: 6 months Rate: Open plus expenses* * Job Description:* Our client in Houston is looking for an Infrastructure Security Engineer. *Responsibilities:* Ensures that an acceptable level of network security is maintained throughout the network environments by providing network security consulting and performing security reviews on a wide range of evolving network technologies and processes. * Required:* · Candidate should be at least Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA). o Candidate should have minimum of 1-3 years of recent (within last 5 years) hand on experience or 2 or more projects with Check Point firewalls. · Strong technical knowledge in security engineering, authentication and security protocols such as IPSec is must o Candidate should have minimum 2-4 years hands on experience (within last 5 years) in an engineering or security architect role. · Maintain the firewall and IPS infrastructure for the corporate network as well as segmented control system / metering networks · Serve as the subject matter expert for Smart Grid, Advanced Metering, and corporate IT security best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements o Design and maintain the network security architecture for a complex network with corporate assets and critical infrastructure components o Author and maintain technical documentation such as network security standards and network security architecture diagrams o Interfaces with technical vendors regarding security issues and recommend solutions o Advise departments on these topics and provide training as required o Ensures network security rules, standards, and architecture is adequate to safe guard the Smart Grid, Advanced Metering, and corporate network environments · Security incident handling · Perform security assessments using existing workflow processes and tools: o Risk assessments on business systems and processes to identify potential risks o Infrastructure and web application vulnerability assessments o Conducts customer interviews, produces assessment documentation and action plan / follow-up correspondence o Provides follow-up with managers/application owners to manage the remediation of assessment findings · Provide support and assistance during internal and external audits · Assist Corporate Security in investigating the misuse of computer resources by providing reports, logs and other information Provide backup support of the Enterprise Network Security infrastructure, which includes Firewalls, IPS, PGP encryption, web / email filtering, Mobile Device Management, and Advanced Malware Security environments -- With Warm Regards ------------------------------ CHAVA GENUINEIT LLC contact: 512-298-3758 Email: [email protected] <[email protected]>, URL: www.genuineitllc.com Gtalkid : [email protected] - in.linkedin.com/pub/chava-anutharang/97/8b8/675/ Genuineit LLC *Certified Women Owned Business* According to Bill S.1618 Title III passed by the 105th US Congress, this message is not considered as "Spam" as we have included the contact information.
