*Location: Chicago, IL* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Interview: F2F* As a *QA Tester *you will work as a part of a dynamic team involved in testing of new development, enhancements and production defects of the existing Data Warehouse, extracts and applications. This role will primarily focus on collecting data warehouse testing environment data needs and working with operations team to assure the testing environments will be populated with the data needed to support the various projects. This role will also facilitate UAT data need discussions with the business to assure the testing data needs to support UAT are clearly understood by testing team, business team and operations team. In the future, the role will work to rollout additional testing environments and devise a plan to quickly role out clean testing environments to testing teams and cleanup and reuse the environments as needed. The role will also work to rollout test automation, test script reuse capabilities and build test data as needed. As a secondary responsibility the role will provide additional testing support to testing teams. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently to meet all target dates and expectations. ETL development experience in Ab Initio is strongly preferred. QA Tester will be responsible for both leading test environment related activities and performing hands on testing.
