· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, and experience in the design and administration of logical and relational databases in diverse technological environments, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. · Proficiency in DB2 for zOS v10, BMC DB2 Database products (i.e. Copy Plus, Change Manager, LogMaster, DASD Manager) · Proficiency with DB2 online REORG usage in high volume OLTP environments · Experience in JCL, DB2 DDL, and SQL · Experience in logical to physical data modeling · Proficiency in SQL performance and tuning · Analytical ability, good communication skills, strong judgment, and the ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff · Understands the systems development process and has a solid understanding of business processes · General knowledge in the following areas: IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies, architectures and technical standards, database administration tools and utilities, application architectures and design principles, infrastructure architectures, backup and recovery, storage subsystems, and replication concepts Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
