The State of Iowa is looking for someone who has a strong understanding of SQL Server, plus experience developing in SSIS and XML. Solid development experience with SSIS is important. The work will initially focus on developing and updating schemas then will evolve into other project work related to SQL database and development, such as maintaining databases or writing scripts. The candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, with aggressive timelines. Candidate will be modifying the SSIS packages to support the changes and modifications to the 2014 tax year. They will work with the changes to the tax code as well as make changes to the file feeds from tax preparation vendors/companies.
