Most projects would be related to the STAR program. WisDOT has custom and COTS applications using web (Java, xml and web services) and mainframe (COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS and utilities) technologies. Experience in these functional and technical areas as a developer and project manager is highly desired. Project tasks: • Meet with stakeholders, prepare presentations and deliver communications materials. • Work with WisDOT management and staff to define project scope, goals and objectives. • Collaborate with business unit and IT staff on all aspects of the project. • Identify and manage business requirements. • Develop detailed work plans. • Develop project management documents including project, risk and communication plans and a project schedule in accordance with WisDOT IT project management methodology. • Ensure the plan is executed in accordance with the schedule.
