*Reply me on [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Location*: Herndon, VA *Term*: 6 months contract to hire *Years of Required Experience:* 4+ years of Linux Systems Administration in an open source style agile, continuous integration based with knowledge on build automation and proven experience with CI Systems such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven or Cruise Control) and SCM Systems such as subversion, or Mercurial, GIT, Perforce or ClearCase. *Responsibilities* · Will be a member of the Software Services Team, whose focus is on build system management and functionality, rather than the typical break-fix, user administration of a typical Linux environment, although we do a little of that as well. · The selected individual will also have experience working within an Open Source style agile, continuous integration based, Linux environment with knowledge of build automation, as well as experience with proven CI systems (such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven, or Cruise Control), and SCM systems (such as Subversion, Mercurial, GIT, Perforce or ClearCase) in order to effectively aid the management of the build system, source code management system, defect tracking system, and other related engineering tools. · Finally, they will provide support for operating system installation, support for embedded, as well as non-embedded systems, cross compiler support for firmware and will require RPM package building expertise. · Experience in kernel-base Virtual Machines (KVM) and Qemu is desirable, as well as an understanding of Open Source release strategies. *Technical-Education Qualifications* · BA/BS degree · 1+ year hands on administration experience in a dynamic environment, preferably supporting large groups of active developers · Experience with scripting such as bash/Perl/python · Experience with SQL, especially MySQL and PostgreSQL · Experience with compilers and cross compiling, esp. gcc, and the Altera tool suite · Experience with Red Hat based-Linux, 32-bit and 64-bit · Experience with RPM spec file creation and administration · Experience managing Red Hat based package repositories · Experience with creating kickstart files from scratch · Experience administering version control systems, especially modern distributed systems such as Git and Mercurial *Preferred Experience:* · Experience with hardware test tools and suites for evaluating new hardware selections · Experience with KVM, lib-virt and Qemu, especially the creation and installation of VMs into containers, networking and administration from the command line · Experience with kernel tuning · Experience administering, upgrading and installing plug-ins with Bugzilla · Experience with infrastructure, (layer 1-3), including switches, routers, servers and VoIP · Experience with Windows and Linux imaging tools · Experience with Git and its interaction with CI and bug tracking systems (Bugzilla) Regards Rachel Lian Technical Recruiter Desk No :201-855-4204 IT Brainiac Inc- Princeton Forrestal Village 116 Village Blvd, Suite 200 Princeton - New Jersey 08540 [email protected] | Gmail:[email protected] www.itbrainiac.com If you prefer not to receive emails from us, simply reply to this e-mail with the word "REMOVE" in the subject line. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
