domain?Description Of Services:Title: Data Modeler - Build and extend the
IBM data model. Location of Project: Monterey Park, CAThe Data
Modeler/architect will be responsible for the design and development of the
logical and physical data model based on source systems. Architect data
modeling solutions for Data Warehouse and downstreams. Facilitate
consistent business analysis, data acquisition and access analysis and
design, database management Systems optimization, archiving and recovery
strategy, load strategy design and implementation, security and change
management at the group level.Technology: IBM Banking Data Model; Erwin;
M1; Modeling and mapping toolsPrimary Skill Set: - Data Modeling in the IBM
banking Model; Modeling Tools; Banking- Banking product knowledge on
capital markets products (derivatives, options & futures, fixed income,
etc.)  or  Core Banking products (loans, deposits, treasury – FX & Money
Market,  Trade Finance)- Data Warehousing & Data Integration Experience-
Leadership qualities & Experience of 12 years of which last 4-5 years in
Banking DW projects.Deliverables:Build and extend the IBM data modelAnalyze
Business Requirements, design logical data models and systems functions and
present to stakeholders Coordinate and interact with technical and business
groups within the department Define data/information architecture
standards, policies and procedures for the organization, structure,
attributes and nomenclature of data elements, and apply accepted data
content standards to technology projects. Ensure existing data/information
assets are identified, stewarded and leveraged across the enterprise.
Review, verify and approve the Conceptual and Logical data models done by
the owner teams for modeling standards, naming convention and properly
defining all objects and relationships. Convert the Logical models in to
Physical models, and generate the delta or forward engineer DDL script, and
execute in the database. Acceptance Criteria:QualificationsBachelors degree
with 12+ years of banking & financial services industry experience
designing 3NF models and dimensional models for financial data warehouse
products using industry standard tools such as Embarcadero (preferred) and
Erwin. Data warehouse concepts and strong Dimensional Data modeling
experience is required. Data Quality and Data Governance concepts and
experience is required. Exposure to Informatica ETL or Business
Intelligence tools is preferred. Experience in modeling Commercial Lending
products such as loans and guarantees, market products such as Derivatives
and Fixed Income Securities is highly desirable. Excellent inter-personal
and communication skills. Excellent mentoring skills Must work well in a
team environment. Model maintenance via portal/website a plus. . Please
