*Role : IS-System Admin-UNIX* *Location : Georgetown, Kentucky* *Role Description:* Unix server build, test and implementation. Supports scanning and performs remediation. Establishes NAMC standard configuration and image for servers and standard security settings. Deploys policy , procedures, and patches. *General Description:* This position is for a HPUX and/or Linux system administrator working with a team of 4 to support all Unix systems in TEMA North American locations. Responsibilities include daily support tasks, troubleshooting, design and project work. Experience with Solaris and/or AIX is helpful. *Requirements: *• 3-5 year(s) experience with HPUX and IBM Power VM in an enterprise environment. • 1-3 year(s) experience with LINUX – Redhat preferred but not required • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol and networking in general (LAN/WAN). • Experience with UNIX to NT connectivity tools is beneficial. • Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (i.e. Excel, Word) required. • Experience with Visio is a plus. • Strong verbal and written communications skills are required. • 24 x 7 on call support is required. • Some weekend work and travel is required. *Skills & Qualification:* The candidate should be able to manage their time and assignments. Thoroughness in following up on and completing tasks is imperative. The candidate will be interacting with the rest of the Information Systems team, receiving instructions and sharing information, but will also be in contact with other Toyota groups coordinating changes and understanding requirements. Candidate must be able to communicate with multiple levels of users in the organization with varying levels of technical capabilities.
