*Position Title: Firewall Threat & Vulnerability Consultant*
*Duration: 12 months+*
*Locations*
*1) Eastern New England (Waltham / Providence / Northborough / Worcester) *
*2) Upstate New York (Syracuse / Albany) *
*3) Downstate New York (Hicksville / Melville / Brooklyn) *
*Job Scope:*
· Work with the some of the largest International clients, delivering
consulting on the best-in class technology solutions
· Work with complex networking environments, taking ownership of your
projects and leading on security elements working within a cross-functional
team that commonly include stakeholders from the client
*As a Threat and Vulnerability Consultant you will bring:*
- *Technical expertise in at least 3 (three) of these: Bluecoat AG, F5,
Cisco ASA, Juniper FW, Palo Alto, Sourcefire, Arcsight, Skybox, Solera,
Cisco ISE*
- *An good general understanding of networking technologies (switches,
routers, DNS, DHCP, etc)*
- Experience with building, maintaining, reviewing all
configs/settings/policies on chosen technologies
- Experience of multi-vendor, managed outsourcing environments.
- Experience of working within a service delivery environment where
robust change control procedures have been adopted
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills (technical and non-technical)
- Ability to review processes and procedures – and improve them
- Experience participating in network & system security projects to
provide:
- Business requirements analysis and support for Solutions Architects
- Production of detailed infrastructure designs including physical
and virtual aspects of security components
- Migration of complex legacy infrastructures to new managed security
services platforms
- Experience of working directly with your peers and stakeholders in the
customer organisation.
- Security Certification is a big plus! (CISSP, CISA, Security+...)
