Finance Decision Manager 5+ months Contract Coral Gables FL Job Responsibilities: Analysis on A&P investment to drive business decisions and opportunities (both actual and plan) Analysis and insights to drive Portfolio optimization – especially non-Scotch Tracking and analysis of A&P causal drivers in WestLac A&P – create and speak to analytical model for monthly BPM Trade Spend investment decisions and opportunities (both actual and plan) Measurement and Evaluation (M&E) of A&P and TS activities Pricing opportunities (both actual and plan) Full value chain analysis Investment optimization, including A&P measurement and evaluation Portfolio optimization Distributor depletion and market Share analysis COGS standard analysis current next FY Innovation pipeline management Business Performance Management (BPM) Process and Planning Cycle: Full review and analysis of all financials Prepare, review and analyze depletions and stock level performance of key BMUs (customer interaction required) Write relevant performance commentary including external factors impacting performance Identify Risks and Opportunities Business Development Projects Changes in route to market (distributor consolidation, setting up new customers, etc . . .) New product launches or other innovation initiatives Changes to supply sourcing Any other ad-hoc analysis required Guidance to assigned areas on CARM and other control issues. Qualifications and Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field.( Accounting, Business Admin, Engineering) Must be fluent in English & Spanish. 5+ years of solid financial experience in related roles and demonstrating increasing responsibilities: Demonstrated success in financial modeling Understanding of value chain andability to provide high quality business analysis Uses commercial insight to consider business ideas and implications Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision Shows inquisitiveness and ability to work with ambiguity Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) SAP and Magnitude knowledge and experience a plus Other Planning Tools knowledge a plus (COGNOS Powerplay, SAP BW, other) Must have good interpersonal and relationship skills to liaise with other departments particularly the Commercial Team as well as some customers Excellent influencing skills Must be able to cope with high pressure and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
