Experience with build automation and build scripting *Plusses:* Experience in virtualization (VMware) Experience in DB/SQL scripting *** they should at least have a knowledge of both of these! *Day to Day:* This individual will contribute and collaborate in designing and building our clients' environments based on requirements, and preparing for the upcoming release in June. They will be working very closely with various engineering, middleware, and development teams to ensure accurate implementations. 80% of their day will be spent supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining websphere and deployments. 20% of their day will be working on new projects all related to the support of the development team. They will support primarily the development operations team, but also QA/UAT/Production environments and ensure smooth working order. They will ensure QA and development teams are not blocked environmentally from achieving release goals. They will develop release documentation covering all aspects of the new release - Primary goal will be to ensure what was engineered, built and certified in QA will be scaled and replicated in production. They will also work to collaborate on how to automate processes and reduce daily manual intervention needed in achieving team goals. This person will be augmenting their current development support team, and they are not looking for anyone with too much experience in the field as they want to mold this person and need the right attitude!
