Title: *Sr. BA/functional analyst* Location: NYC Duration: 6+ Months *Only EAD/GC/US Citizens, can do C2C* • Elicit requirements using a variety of methods including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. • Assist in evaluating and distilling information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, and decomposing high-level information into details • Proactively communicate and collaborate within the team and client to analyze information needs and functional requirements • Develop and deliver requirements specifications, wireframe annotations, site map annotations, use cases, and workflow documents • Collaborate with creative and experience designers, developers, and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. • Be a liaison between client subject matter teams and internal experience, creative, technology, and strategy teams. • Develop test and QA scripts and oversee the execution of testing during prototype, beta, and production builds of applications, platforms, and websites. • Ability to present your own work both internally and to the client • Work closely with UX Leadership to advance the practice of User Experience and Functional Analysis at company *The Soft Skills:* • A desire for collaboration and seamless work amongst internal teams such as Strategy, Creative, Development and Account Management as well as external and partner vendors • The ability to take direction and critique as a natural part of improving your work • Experience working on large and complex digital project teams - with emphasis on Travel related industries • Exposure to consulting environments (not just agency work) as well long-term embedded client site experience. • An understanding of how to interpret disparate business/user/brand/technology needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. • A keen attention to detail and author of crisp, clear documentation • Excellent communication, relationship, presentation and time management skills *Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements.* *Description:* *The Role:* The Functional Analyst will largely be a tactical and hybrid position that straddles multiple facets of experience design, content strategy, business requirements, and technical know-how.
