Please have a view on the below position we have and let me know if any one available. *Location: Pittsburgh, PA* *Duration: Long Term* *Job Summary/Description:* Need a very senior resource with both design and development skills. Resource needs to be able to work independently with only general direction from technical lead. Past experience with advanced technical design and development needs to be verified for the candidate. Candidate should have enterprise application development experience. Contractor will participate in the ongoing development and support of a key strategic application. It is mission critical to our operations. *Experienced candidate required –* At least 8+ years of programming and design in a full time employment roll – preferably related to high volume, mission critical systems. Technologies in order of importance are Java (10 plus years), Oracle SQL (5 years here), JNI w/ C/C++, Spring Framework (JDBC templates), JMS, ICEFaces, Weblogic, Geoprocessing (GIS), Source Code Control (subversion, specifically), and Eclipse. Contractor will be asked to participate (under the direction of an FTE) in the design, development, testing and support processes. Excellent communication skills are required. *Additional comments:* Experience of Java design and development and J2EE experience. Minimum of five (8) years of system design. Two (2) years of Web services, JMS, Spring, Spring JDBC Template, Linux/Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle SQL, JAXB/XML technology experience, and Eclipse, Maven, and Subversion experience in a Linux development environment. Required skills are: Java, JMS, Spring, Spring JDBC Template, JAXB XML, SQL; others are nice to have.
