Please send the resumes at [email protected] Title: BI Consultant Location: Menomonee Falls, WI Duration: 8+ months Details: Candidates primary responsibility is to support and assist Wells Fargos Funds Management Groups (FMG) Business Reporting technical team (BRT). Evaluate and enhance current state BRT reporting processes by documenting process and dimension overlaps, identifying improvements/consolidation areas and successfully implementing new processes. Handle and lead complex or critical data/ database management initiatives that typically involve multiple disciplines and multiple business groups, including responsibility for database architecture, design, integration, and/or data modeling. The candidate will work as part of a Business Intelligence Team (BI) that is responsible and accountable for the creation, maintenance, and support of the BI environment within FMG. A qualified candidate will: Provide strong business sense and communication skills to work easily within the BRT and business community; acting as a member within a BI Team, working as a liaison and interface with internal customers of the BI environment. Understand specific business rules and data flow (i.e. becoming a business subject matter expert for each subject areas within the BI environment). Provide thorough understanding and ability to work alone within a Cognos reporting environment. Maintain detailed documentation for the BI architecture, policies, procedures, and standards; ensuring these policies, procedures, and standards are followed according to Wells Fargo policy. Detailed Activities (not all inclusive): Evaluate current state Business Reporting Team (BRT) reporting processes. Document process and dimension overlaps, identify improvement/consolidation areas and implement new processes.
