*HR Implementation Team*

The University System of Georgia is seeking submissions to staff a project
team charged to implement a consolidated instance of PeopleSoft Human
Capital Management. The team will be comprised of the following roles: HR
Functional Lead, Payroll Consultant, Time and Labor Consultant, Human
Resources and Faculty Events Consultant, Benefits Administration
Consultant, Absence Management Consultant, Change Management Lead
Consultant, and Project Coordinator.

The implementation team is expected to be on-site (Monday to Thursday) at
the project office space (Metro Atlanta – Northside Perimeter at the
intersection of I-285 and I-85).  All resources will report to the Project
Manager and be responsible for process design, software configuration, data
mapping and conversion, system and user acceptance testing and change
management tasks.



*Payroll Consultant Requirements*

   -

   5+ years of hands of experience as PeopleSoft Functional North American
   Payroll Consultant
   -

   Experience in mapping client business processes to PeopleSoft software
   with minimal customization
   -

   2+ years public sector and higher-education experience
   -

   Ability to manage project scope and client expectations
   -

   Work on all project phases including….
   -

   Conduct / Document Business Process Requirements
   -

   Facilitate Fit/Gap sessions to determine configuration and identify
   potential customizations (with a goal of minimizing customizations)
   -

   Author functional specification documents
   -

   Facilitate configuration and application security decisions
   -

   Configure the system to meet the USG business requirements
   -

   Develop/document test conditions, scenarios, and scripts
   -

   Conduct system and integration testing
   -

   Provide knowledge transfer to USG team members



   *Payroll Specific Requirements*


   -

   Configuration of North American Payroll (Salary Plans, Salary Grades,
   Pay Schedules, Earnings Codes, Payroll Calendars)
   -

   Transition Monthly Pay to Bi-Weekly
   -

   Multi-Job / Multi-Location Support
   -

   Integration with 3rd Party Tax Provider, Cobra Administration and
   Garnishment Administration
   -

   Setup and Configuration of Retro Pay
   -

   Integration with PeopleSoft Payables for pay benefit and tax liabilities
   -

   General Ledger Integration
   -

   Encumbrance Projection
   -

   10 month pay with summer appointment
   -

   Non-resident alien reporting integration (Glacier or Windstar)
   -

   Department Budgets and Job Earnings Distributions
   -

   Advise on options, risks, and any impacts on business processes or
   systems
   -

   Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2
   -

   Demonstrate understanding of setup tables, integration points and
   reporting
   -

   Exhibit expert knowledge in Payroll and related ePay
   -

   Experience with PS Query and SQL is needed
   -

   Proactive in completing the job assigned with little direction and be
   adaptable to changing job requirements
   -

   Ability to work cross-functionally with variety of people to accomplish
   goals and support others.
   -

   Experience with MS Word, Excel and Visio is required.
