Hi, Looking for - Software Test Engineer Role : Software Test Engineer Location : Canonsburg, PA Duration : Long Term Job Description: Qualifications Minimum 3 years software test engineering or QA automation experience Strong understanding of mobile applications, web technologies and distributed systems Proficient in writing automation tests in Java, Selenium WebDriver, JUnit, TestNG, Appium or similar testing platforms Experience writing test cases, test scenarios and test plans Experience testing mobile and embedded devices (iOS, Android and embedded Linux firmware) Experience working in a cross-functional, multi-platform environment Experience with release management & continuous integration tools a plus (Maven, Jenkins or similar) Familiarity with agile Scrum process preferred Strong troubleshooting skills required Basic SQL knowledge required Job Duties Perform manual and automated software validation & verification, including system, regression, smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Design, write and execute test plans, test scripts and test scenarios that adhere to system requirements. Identify, analyze, and document defects, and inconsistencies in software program functions, output. Provide status updates regarding test progress, results, and unresolved problems. Collaborate with developers to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention, usability and functional enhancements throughout the development process.
