*Sharepoint Developer * *Somers, NY* *Contract: 1+ Months* *Summary:* The SharePoint Developer is a contractor position for a 4-week assignment. The contractor will design and develop a SharePoint site in the current SharePoint 2013 environment. The SharePoint site will contain workflow and routing rules to replace an existing email work queue managed by the business team. The solution will employ JavaScript and other custom solutions. This is primarily a design/develop/unit-test role. The SharePoint Developer will also review the results of QA testing and make any needed modifications prior to site go-live. *Responsibilities: * Design a shared email and excel-based work queue replacement in SharePoint 2013 in accordance with business requirements. Develop the solution in a Test environment, performing all necessary unit testing. Analyze the results of end-user testing and modify the tool as necessary. Assist with the migration of the completed tool to the Production environment. Provide daily in-person updates explaining all work performed that day. The goal of this project is for internal resources to provide ongoing support for the developed solution; therefore the SharePoint Developer will be required to explain all aspects of design and development to ensure complete knowledge transfer. Advanced SharePoint 2013 experience including site creation & maintenance, apps, all aspects of workflow including notifications, and list creation/management. Knowledge of user security based on Active Directory and groups. JavaScript knowledge will be necessary to supply certain features lacking in SharePoint 2013’s out of the box functionality.
