*Sr. Java Developer (Retail eCommerce background)* *Location : San Francisco - CA* *Long Term Contract * *Job description:* The senior Java Programmer will be responsible for the design and development of programming systems for E-commerce projects. S/he will be responsible for requirement analysis, technical analysis, technical design and development of code using payment card industry security standards. The Java Programmer will create systems requirements documents using specifications and inputs from business analysts, conduct unit testing, QA support, and level 2 support on a requirement basis. This individual will create the implementation plan as per the project level quality plan and will work on go-live activities. Experience with Web logic/Web sphere/J-Boss and Web technologies like AJAX, XML, J-query Java Development and PL/SQL is must for this position. Experience in Blue Martini or any other e-commerce product is plus. Selected candidate will have to work in fast paced development environment with minimum supervision. *Job Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, followed by a minimum of 5+ years of progressive, IT industry experience as a Java Programmer or related role required. The qualified candidate must have proven experience with requirements review and analysis, technical analysis, technical design, development, unit testing, and QA support. Oracle PL/SQL experience required. The ideal candidate will have Java development experience including: GUI, core Java, middle tier, client side development, and server side development. Client side programming in Java and server side programming in Java, JSP, and Servlet preferred.
